Sorry for any ignorance as an InfoPath non-user, but I support people who
are. They use a customer's Sharepoint site to check InfoPath forms out and
in. Some are experiencing a problem when checking out a form to edit. Instead
of being asked where they want to save the form, they get a window with what
looks like the InfoPath code instead of the fill-in form. If they return to
the management window, the form shows as checked out, and they have to check
it back in.
The customer's IT department suggests uninstalling and reinstalling InfoPath
2007. But our copies are upgrades, so we would have to reinstall 2003 and
then 2007. Since that's exactly what we did in the first place, I have no
confidence that this would solve the problem--not to mention risking losing
their e-mail and other settings in the process.
Any idea what's causing this--and how to fix it?
