Edit Project Properties

Hello,
We are currently using 2007 version of the EPM, patched to date, Al-
Hamdulillaah (All Praises and Thanx to God Al-Mighty).

When I go to "Edit Project Properties" of a certain project and click
on "Save and Publish", after completing 100% it shows done. However,
it doesn't close automatically (i.e. I have to click on 'Close'
button) and neither does it redirects automatically to the "Proejct
Center". I have to go manually to the "Project Center" by clicking on
Home and then "Project Center".
After this, I find that my graphical indicator disappears and text is
shown "No baseline" but it was "Late" earlier. However, it always
shows "No baseline" although the project has been saved with the
baselines.

Can someone guide me on this?

Thank you
Best regards,

Tanzim Akhtar

Your situation proves that publishing a project from PWA is still fraught
with problems. We strongly recommend that you only publish projects in the
Microsoft Project Professional 2007 desktop client. So, you did nothing
wrong; the software still has bugs that need to be fixed. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

Thank you for the good topic. Does the SP1 resolve the baseline
issue as well as the project center views stickiness to data?

Thanks,
Ravi.

The issue has nothing to do with baselines or Project Center views. The
issue is publishing a project from within PWA, which I don't believe SP1
fixes. Hope this helps.
