My client wants to edit their Intranet on a Server 2003 PC directly with
FrontPage 2003.
When they go File --> Open Site and open "http://servername:8081" it comes
with "Web Site Setup" Wizard indicating the site must be copied to the local
machine first. They don't want to do this, they want to edit the site
directly as they could on Server 2000 before the move to 2003.
If they Cancel the wizard then another dialog saying "The web server at
'http://servername:8081' does not appear to have Windows SharePoint Services
installed." If they install SharePoint will they be able to edit the
intranet directly?
They can open and edit the intranet site directly if they use Frontpage
2000.
