edit shared calendar

I have shared my outlook calendar on my desktop, with my laptop -

When i go to add appoinmnets in my laptop, it advises that i can not make
changes to the contents of this read only folder.

Any ideas, as i work at home and away, and it would be great to have access
to calendar on both ps.
