Edit subweb address error from PWA

Hello,

Previously I was able to edit subweb addresses from PWA > Admin >
Manage STS > Manage subwebs in 2002. I still receive the pop-up window
and can edit the address. However, upon saving, and selecting 'Ok' the
pop-up window closes and the bottom left information bar of my web
browser says 'Error on page'. The subweb does exist and is accessible.
This was working before without issue. There have been no environment
changes. No errors are produced in the event log.
