word 2007: right-click an image > Text Wrapping > Tight (or Through)
right-click the image again > Text Wrapping > Edit Wrap Point.
Now you can change the image perimeter to any shape (octagon, for example)
to exclude white space outside the octagon.
If I understood properly, this is the way to change the rectangular shape of
an image, but after the editing, how do you fix this new image shape -
octagon, so you could wrap text around it?
