I have a user who has an ongoing issue with project files changing from
editable to readonly.
This is the scenario: She has 4 project 2003 files opening (using project
standard). These files are editable and she is making changes to them. She
has her autosave set to run every 6 minutes. Sometimes the save occurs
without a problem.
Periodically, when she is prompted and confirms, she will get a message
telling her that the file is readonly. If you look at the title bar of the
window, it does not say readonly until she clicks oK on the readonly message.
In order to save the work she has already done, she must save under a new
name.
I haven't found any rhyme nor reason yet as to why this occurs when it does.
I am curious if anyone has seen this behavior on any kind of file, project
or not?
