In Word 2003
I opened the normal.dot to change the default zoom to 100%. I saved and
closed it.
Now, whenever I try to open an attached Word Document directly from Outlook
(when Word is not open in advance) I get a pair of error messages. The first
says "The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Click OK
and then close the open dialog boxes to continue."
The dialog box it is referring to says "Word cannot save this file because
it is already open elsewhere. C:\documents and settings\...normal.dot"
I can click OK on both and the program works normally.
If Word is already open, there isn't a problem. Nor does opening a saved
file cause a problem.
What did I do? And more importantly, how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
