editgoto date:=today

I have a button I created with the command "editgoto date:=today" so
that I can easily jump back to today's date in the Gantt view. When I
hit the button, it always shows me the two weeks before today's date
also. Is there a way to make it only show a few days prior? I was
thinking something like "editgoto date:=today - 11", but nothing I've
tried works correctly.

I'm using 2003 professional on one computer and 2007 standard on
another.

Thanks!

Hello Dan,

What is the zoom magnification you are showing in the Gantt chart
and how much is visible in the Task Sheet side of the view? When I
show Name, Duration in the task sheet and then go to today, I see 1
week previous to today in the Gantt chart view. I am showing a zoom
magnification of weeks over days.

Try adjusting the split bar and zoom magnification.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie,

I'm at a custom zoom of 68 days. I actually just got it to work using
editgoto date:="today - 21". The 21 doesn't seem to correlate to
anything specific (days, hours, etc.). I just kept messing with
numbers until it worked like I wanted it to.

Thanks,

Dan
