Editijng Text in Text Form Fields

Hi!
Our agency is now using Word 2003 for their documents, which consist of a
combination of Form Fields and blank sections to input text. One of my
supervisors is trying to edit a document that has the form fields and when
protected, they can place the cursor directly into the field and edit.
However, further down the document, in other fields, when the supervisor goes
to click on the field, the entire field is then highlighed and is difficult
to edit at that point. Yet, when the document is unprotected, then the fields
highlight, even the editable ones when the document is protected. Is this a
flaw in the program and what is the work around to allow placing the cursor
directly into the form field when protected without it highlighting.

This sounds like a strictly Word problem, not an MS Access database problem,
which is what this newsgroup deals with. The MS site that many gain entrance
here thru is somewhat confusing, I understand.
