I have created a form in infopath which connects to a SQL database and is
published in a sharepoint library. When a new form is submitted it writes
data back to the SQL database and publishes an XML form in the sharepoint
library. If i then edit the form within sharepoint and attempt to add a URL
or Attachment to the form i get this message - "InfoPath cannot submit the
form.
The form does not contain any new data to submit to the data source."
The URL and Attachment fields don't actually write back to the database (as
i couldn't find a way of storing this information in SQL) - so I need to
somehow set something up which realises that the form has changed if a add a
URL or attachment to an existing form - any ideas? I am new to infopath,
there may be an easy way to do it - thanks in advance.
