editing a presentation in full screen

Hi,

i'm planning to use powerpoint to run a gameshow for a children's program.
I'm planning to use one slide to keep score. is there a way to edit a
powerpoint presentation in full screen mode?

i don't mind running the presentation in normal view mode .. if i can find a
way to get rid of all menu bars/toolbars etc including the thing up the top
... thats says. Microsoft Powerpoint and the filename.
