Editing a shape with embedded text

On Visio 2000 Technical Ed., I am trying to edit the text on the 20 pin
connector on the stencil "electrical components". Instead of 1,2,3... I want
them to be Y0,Y1,Y2... I can't seem to ungroup the boxes to edit their
internal text. I get the message "An error (915) occurred during the action
ungroup. The selected group is locked. Unlock the group and try the action
again." When I go to protection for the master protection, no group is
locked. When I go to the ShapeSheet, there is a 1 in group lock. Even when
I change it to 0, it still does not allow me to ungroup or edit the text.

You don't want to Ungroup because that destroys the shape. You can edit the
contents of groups by choosing Edit > Group from the menu (last item in the
menu). Unfortunately, these shapes will probably require that you dig
through the shapesheet to remove the text protection.
