Happy New Year! I am using Word 2003, SP 2. I created a template that uses
bookmarks to populate other parts of the document. For example, the first
page has the document number [12345] and the revision [A] bookmarked. On
subsequent pages, I have placed cross references to the text of these
bookmarks.
The problem that I am having is when the user updates the document number
and/or revision on page 1, the bookmark gets deleted very easily. I have a
work around which is to type in the new information and delete the old by
either backspacing or using the delete key.
Is there an easier way to edit the bookmark text?
