Editing custom fied with PWA Task View

Hello,

We have created a "Current Status" custom field, as a value list (on track,
behind schedule, etc) with graphical indicators (green, red, etc). We have
then published this field with option "Let resource change field".

We would like team members to update this field with PWA in addition to
updating the %Complete. Unfortunately, team members can see "Current Status"
but cannot edit it.

Would you have an idea on what we did wrong?

You will need to ask your project managers to complete the following steps:

1. Open an enterprise project
2. Click Tools - Customize - Published Fields
3. Copy the "Current Status" field to the list on the right
4. Select the "Assignment" option and select the "Let resource change
field" option
5. Click OK
6. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments and then click OK
7. Save and close the enterprise project
8. Repeat steps #1-7 for EVERY project they manage

Please note that all of your project managers must complete the above steps
for every project they manage. You should also do the same for any
enterprise project templates you have created. Hope this helps.
