editing document with checkboxes

O

oz

Hello,
I added a checkboxes to my document, but in order to activate it, i had to
protect the document.

The problem is that no changes can be done in order to edit or add text to
any other part of the document. After I protect the document, the only thing
I can do is check the boxes. But what if I want people to add text in other
parts of the document?

How can I have a document in which people can answer questions by typing in
text, and also by checking checkboxes?

thank you!

If you want free editing then a protected form is not the way forward.
Either provide text fields for user input or see how to create a checkbox
using macrobutton fields http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm

Hi Oz,

If you put Section breaks before/after the portions on which you want editing restricted, you can then limit the forms protection to
only those Sections.
