We have an access (office2000) database of all our contacts and are
trying to link it into the contacts list on exchange(2000) in the public
folders so that the email addresses and other information is available
to everyone on outlook.
Has anyone managed to get this working using either ADO or linked tables?
We've tried with linked tables and can create an entry in the address
book, but it thinks it is an email rather than a contact. Using some
sample code on the microsoft web site we can access the calendar in the
public folders, but every attempt to access the contacts have failed. It
doesn't help that the help on access doesn't cover ado properly.
This is getting very frustrating for us now as we've been trying all
sorts of methods.
