Using FrontPage 2003, I usually go to a web page and use File>Edit from
within Internet Explorer to open Microsoft FrontPage when making minor edits
to individual pages. Now when I use that method I am getting the message
"The Web server does not appear to have any authentication methods enabled.
It asked for user authentication, but did not send a WWW-Authenticate
header".
I have had no trouble with this in the past. It appears to be machine
specific as my fellow workers can access the pages using this method.
Nothing has been added/removed from my PC since it last worked and
permissions do not appear to be a problem. I can access my entire web by
opening FrontPage and navigating to the appropriate folders and pages. I have
restarted our web server and uninstalled/reinstalled FrontPage on my machine.
Thanks in advance.
