Editing Hyperlinks

I'm working in Microsoft 2003. I have an Excel document that is hyperlinked
to various files in a Word folder and I need to update the Word folder. Is
there an easy way to make that change without having to update each hyperlink
in the Excel document? Previous attemps to do this have killed the
hyperlinks.
