Hello,
We have Windows XP and MS Office 2003.
When I am replying to a message, and trying to edit text that's part of the
original message, Outlook gives me extra spaces around the letters.
For example, here is the original text:
"The rule stipulates that due diligence must be completed four weeks after
the start the case."
So I hit Reply, then try to edit the sentence, and this is what happens:
"The rule stipulates that a due diligence report must be completed four
weeks after the start the case."
That's not a great example, but every time you start typing, it throws in a
space before and after letters. Even if you try not to type spaces yourself,
you still end up with extra spaces around letters and words.
I've noticed it happens when working in HTML format, but not plain text
format. But my bosses don't want to work in plain text format.
Is this a setting that can be changed? Or is there some way to fix this? I
did some internet searching through Google and found this same question
popped up a lot ... but didn't find any answer to it.
Many thanks,
Rosemary
