Editing objects in Visio with VBA

I have a visio diagram that I need to add Tagged Values to the
properties of every field in every object in my diagram. I would have
added these values to my diagram in the first place but I figured out
that I needed to do this very late in the game. I would like to do
this programmatically, but I dont really know where to start. I have
programed VBA in another program but lack the versitility to jump into
Visio and tackle this problem. Can anybody help?

I'd probably start over here and investigate custom
properties....
