Editing pictures inserted into Word from Powerpoint

I am trying to edit the text on a powerpoint Slide which has been copy/pasted
into word - any ideas ? Without going back to the PowerPoint slideset (as I
will email the Word document to someone who will edit the slides in the word
file) ?

No chance, really. Best you could do would be to layer a textbox over the
picture (I'd Paste Special as a picture, rather than embedding a slide if the
recipient can't use Powerpoint), to hide the original text.
