Editing Project Properties in Project Center

I think I know the answer to this question, but here goes:

I want to know if I can edit the properties of entrprise custom fields in
Project Center - inline in the Project Center view.

I've got Gary and Dales book (the orange one) and I know how to edit details
of a project by selecting the project and they choosing "Edit..." via the
menu, but I'd like to be able to shoot through the grid of projects while I
get updates from my team and be able to override/edit some of the custom
fields on the fly rather than do a number of clicks on each one.

Not gonna happen. You'll also note that you would need to publish once you
make those changes, and it would be best to do that from MPP, not PWA.
