Editing Recurring Calendar Items Causes Multiple Email Copies of the Item

Hello,

We are using Exchange 2003 Server. Our calendar is located in a
public folder. We have a rule which emails the calendar entry to the
creator and three other people. When editing a recurring event (or a
single instance of the event), multiple copies of the recurring event
are emailed to the list (but no additional entries are added to the
calendar itself). The number of identical calendar entries being
emailed to group can be a few or a lot - there doesn't seem to be much
rhyme or reason. This does not appear to happen with non-recurring
calendar entries.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it? I've
checked Microsoft's support website and the listservs and so far
haven't come up with anything definitive.

Thanks and regards,

JulieAnn
