Editing Slides Won't Carry Music

PPT 2002. When I'm watching the show, I see a slide I need to adjust and
stop the show, edit it and wish to start from that point and continue, but
the music embedded on a previous slide, doesn't carry forward.
Is this another PP2002 issue that can/cannot be resolved?
It's irratating to run it from say slide 1 to slide 16 just to see if the
music matches now.....

Zook,

Chances are the music is 'triggered' (set to start) on slide 1.

If you start from slide 5, then the trigger (set to start) never happens,
hence powerpoint does not play the music.

It's un avoidable
