I tried to add a title to my presentation and the slide thumbnail is not
reflecting the change. Is there a reason why it is not doing so?

Are you talking about the outline tab on the left of the screen ? Only
titles you typed in the title and subtitle placeholders will show up there.
Or maybe you just added a textbox, those will show in the slides thumbnail
tab, but not in the placeholder.

Is your slide (not the thumbnail) correctly reflecting the change in editing
AND slideshow mode?
