Editing the Navigation bar - Pub 2000

I deleted the vertical navigation bars and now only have the horizontal
ones. They work fine but I want to change the wording and can't figure out
how. Help me please.

I tried everything - no luck. I have nine pages.
The title on the pages does not match the Nav Bar.
I only have one Nav Bar - it is on the bottom (no room for one on the left
side)
I deleted text in the title field and unchecked "add hyper..." but the Nav
Bar does not change.
Nav Bar works fine except I want to change the names to match the pages.
What else can I try ?

The names should be the same as the "page title" field.
If not than generate a new bar as explained in my article.

I followed your instructions (2x) but no new bar was generated.
I somehow managed to make the Nav Bar disappear.
At the moment I have no navigation bar on any of my nine pages.
Using File - Web property - Page but this is not doing anything.
I am obviously missing some thing.
Sorry to be such a klutz about this - but I am stuck and I am begging for
help.

Recommend you zip it.
It will zip to a very much smaller size.
use WinZip or Windows xp compressed files if you have winxp.
then email it.

with Winzip it is 43.422

is the site 99% graphics?
that's odd my winzip experience has been that I get about 80-90 % reduction.
I guess upload the pub file to your web server and then send me the url of
it and I'll then download it.

42.222kb is tiny. Smaller than many posts in these newsgroups!

is that the url you loaded the file to?

To get to the site where all my stuff is, I ftp to ftp.lizzzet.com
then I see all the files for my old website and the file I uploaded
MyWebPS.zip

Do you need my ID and password ?

well this time you spelled the file name differently.
and evidently this second spelling is correct as I am downloading it now.

Wow your site is all graphics!
Anyway now that I'm looking at this I don't understand your issue.
I don't see any nav bar in use.
You have simple text links at random thru the pages, all of which are
functional and appear correct to me.
You'll need to explain in detail what it is that is a problem.

Initially I had 2 Nav Bars. they both worked fine.
I deleted the Vert one and kept the Horizontal one on the bottom.
But somehow the names did not match the titles.
The Nav Bar allowed you go to to Pages 1,2,3,4,6 &13
Worked fine. the problem began with me trying the change the title names
(incorrectly ofcourse)
I tried to correct this and do it the right way but then eventually the
Navigation Bar just disappeared.
Can I have the Nav bar back ?

Yes, lots of graphics - it's a way to keep friends and family informed.
