Editing the WBS field at the project level

Is there a way to edit the WBS field at the project level rather than the
task level? Since the Project Center Views allow me to display that field, I
would guess that there is a way to edit it; but I can't do it in either the
web interface or opening the project in the client? Am I missing something?

If I understand the question correctly you want to edit the project level
WBS field

You can see the project level by going to the tools menu, selecting options
In the view tab there is an option to show the project summary task

Note: this can not be set to show by default & will have to be actioned on
each project

This is task 0. Any edits you make here will be visible in the corresponding
field in the project centre

Chris,

Thanks for your response. I actually already tried your recommendation
prior to the post, and the project level WBS will not let me change it from
0. Just checked it again... same issue.

Can you actually do this in your version? Maybe something is wrong with my
settings?
