editing

in my switchboard i have a button to edit existing data.
I press and it brings up a blank form to start entering
data. I can click remove filter and i am able to edit
until i close the switchboard. how can i keep from
clicking the remove filter button every time i want to
open and edit my already existing data?

If you used the built-in switchboard manager to make your switchboard, there
are two options to open a form.

Open Form in Add Mode is probably what you have selected.

You need to change it to Open Form in Edit Mode.

Edit is in edit mode. and still opens up in add mode. Is
there a way to check the filters. I can edit and find
items after open the edit window, and click remove
filters. Don't know what to do? Please help, Thank You!

Then check to Data Entry property of the form. It should be set to No.
