EditSite Tool - EPS 2003 any experience with this tool?

Has anyone had a successful experience in using this tool? Could you share
any info on what went well and what maybe not so well?
I am working with our IT Admin to try and use this tool to create a second
db instance for us to use primarily for custom development, trying things
out, training and potentially a "quick" access to data in case of problems
with a particular project - use sort of like a ** "Backup" database. Would
like to re-populate with production data on some kind of routine schedule.

**Not as a Backup database, we still do and will continue to do nightly
backups of EPS DB.

Once you establish your database(s) on the SQL Server with Project Server
and Project Role member as users, you EditSite to create the new project
server folder tree on your PS server, which creates all the asp, aspx, etc
files for the site, and also to tell project server the usernames and
passwords of the two roles members on SQL server.

It's pretty straightforward.
