EditSite Tool: Error creating the WSS Site

Hello,

i have a problem with the EditSite tool creating another Project Server
Instances:
I tried it on one machine
(a german windows server 2003 with german WSS and ProjectServer with german
SP2a) and it worked very well - no problems.

But on another machine with all software in english version i ran into
troubles:
I got the following error message at the end of the process:

" [new ps instance name]: Sharepoint site could not be created.
Windows SharePoint Service Error Message: soap:Server Exception of type
Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException was thrown. The language
is not supported on the server. 0x8102005e"

Maybe somebody has a hint how to resolve this problem? As
mentioned all software is in english. I don't understand why this happens.

I had to use the database setup script from a german ProjectServer
installation media, because the english media was not available at the moment
- can this be the reason for my problem?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Given the message you are getting ("The language is not supported on the
server"), this would seem very likely given that otherwise everything is -
according to you - the English language version.
