Effect of Summary Task Priority on Leveling

Mornin' y'all, me again. A friend posed an interesting
question to me: Does the priority cell in a summary task
have any effect on the priority of its tasks when leveling?

We all know what happens when we link a predecessor or
assign a resource to a summary task. Does the summary
priority indicate a priority of all the tasks below it?
Should summary tasks be set to 0? If I set a summary
priority to 1000, will all of its tasks be passed over
when leveling?

Hi Tommy:

AFAIK...

Priorities of summary tasks do not come into play
As for the special cases (1000) , by the time you asked the question you
would have tested it for yourself..
