Effect of Summary Task Priority on Leveling

Does the summary task priority had any effect on the
leveling of resources assigned to the tasks below it?

Hi all,

I fail to see where that rumour comes from.
Just to make sure I did a quik test.
Summary task priority seems to be totally ignored by leveling.

Jan,

Has anyone ever told you how annoying you are in the way
you answer the posts? I can't imagine how annoying you
must be in real life.

Keep up the good work.

Hi,

When re-reading especially this thread I have to admit some nerve is visble.
Sorry.
And yes, the word arrogance has come to surface when some people talk about
me.
It's not always the case, fortunately.
Greets,

As I see it, levelling only delays tasks where an assigned resource it
overallocated, and the setting of Priority only applies when levelling - it
has no other purpose. As you shouldn't have any resources assigned to
summaries, then the priority setting is meaningless.
