effort details for a project for each resource on daily granularit

For a given project, effort details need to be reported for each resource on
a daily granularity for a given period. Currently, the resource report
(view->reports->workload->task usage) shows time reported for a given
resource across all projects at a weekly granularity. This does not suffice
the need. Can you please help me in getting the report I want.

Susan,

When you use "Resource Usage view" and define a new group with the following
items :
a) Group by "Project"
check "group assignments, not resources"
select "assignment" as Field type
B) then by "Name"
with field type "resources"

You get an overview per project per resource
