elapsed time formatting

I want to format the numbers in the cell in minutes and
seconds to appear like this: 53:39 for fifty-three
minutes and thirty-nine seconds, or 265:30 to for two
hundred sixty-five minutes and thirty seconds. Any help
on how to format so the colon automatically inserts prior
to the last two digits? In other words, I want to just
type 5339 and have the result in the cell be 53:39. THANK
YOU!
