electronic postage

Trudy

Does anyone know how I get Word to acknowledge that I already have electronic
postage on my computer? When I try to "add e-postage" to an envelope Word
doesn't recognize it and asks if I want to go online! Same thing happens
when I try to use the properties feature. I can't find any online help to
solve this problem.

Yes, thank you. That's what I did. I finally linked the two through the
e-postage software and it worked beautifully.

Thanks for your reply

I would suggest asking the company who provides the e-postage.

Trudy - I have the same problem exactly, and use Stamps.com. Is that what
you use? If so, what did you have to do with the stamps.com software to make
it work with WORD 2007? Brooks

I have the same issue. MS Office Pro 2003 worked just fine. I had to upgrade
to this joke of an operating suystem called Vista which caused an upgrade to
this junk called MS Office 2007. The beautiful Help file system for 3rd party
vendors has been disabled and the junk (MS Office 2007) refers me to
Stamps.com's site. Stamps.com does not seem to support Vista or MS Office
2007.

I AM REALLY, REALlY ANGRY. I would cuss them out but they would probably
block my post!

Did the Multi Billion Dollar Industrial giant MS care? If they did they
would have provided backwards compatibility as they always have in the past.

I have to use some programs that have forced Vista upgrades and some that
have not and do not plan to provide Vista compatible software.

I still say the giant SUCKS.

JoAnn -
I must have missed something; are you suggesting that Office 2007 is NOT
Vista-compliant?

No, he mentioned Stamps.com not being Vista-compliant. Office 2007 was meant
to go hand-in-hand with Vista. The only issue I have is that Acrobat v8
isn't Vista-compliant yet and I just got a new system. Fortunately I have my
old computer that is still running XP. It's slower than molasses but it
works. I knew about the Acrobat issue before I got another computer and I
made the choice to buy a new computer now instead of waiting.

Hi Trudy,

I ran into the exact same situatio you had, but i have stamps.com. What
electronic postage program do you use? I'll drop stamps.ocm in a heart beat
if I can get one that allows me to print psotage to our labels.

Thanks Trudy, and hope to hear from you soon! :)
