I wish to use a signature on all of my messages in Outlook 2003. In Outlook
I select Tools/Options/Mail Format and select my signature for new messages,
and for reply and forwarded messages. (Select signature for account is set
at Microsoft Exchange Server). No messages could be sent, and the error
"Can't open this item. Can't create file: .vcf" appeared. I make the
following change to the where my message attachments were stored - From
C:\Documents and Settings\%User_Name%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\OLK# - To C:\Documents and Settings\%User_Name%\Local
Settings\Temp\OLK#. Now signatures work only for new messages. Signatures
are not applied to reply or forwarded messages. Sometimes a link appears,
but not the signature.
