Eliminate a rectangle showing up around an oval?

Wnen I cut and paste an oval to another part of my work, it looks OK on
screen but prints with a rectangle around it with the oval outlined within
the rectangle. How do you remove this rectangle?

There is a transparency tool on the picture toolbar. Can you insert the image
again and eliminate the copy/paste?
