Eliminate review ing toolbar default

D

David

I am not able to create an opening default spreadsheet
that does not bring up the reviewing toolbar. It takes up
a line and I have to eliminated manually each time I open
a spreadsheet. The reset command does not do the job.
What am i missing?

IIRC, I had that happen when my default workbook template (Book.xlt
or Workbook.xlt in the XLStart directory) or another file in that
directory was set to Track changes.

If the template's the problem, create a new workbook. Choose
Tools/Track Changes/Highlight Changes and uncheck the Track changes
while editing checkbox. Save the workbook as as a template as above.
