Eliminate the CD to patch requirement.

This is one of the most irritating and stupid ideas out there. I manage an
SMBs IT. I don't have huge amounts of money to spend on desktop management
software or tons of people to manage desktops for me. The last thing I want
is to leave the software in the hands of the every employee so they can patch
themselves every time there is security problem (or make illegal copies).
This is truly irritating and the reason why I am investigating OpenOffice and
others as a solution. (Especially since we have no need of 98% of the changes
in the last release and probably the next.) Office is a bloated product that
needs some serious trimming or at least serious customization features (and
yes I am familiar with the ones there) to be more suitable to the majority of
users.

Having to sign into a .net profile to post an comment directed directly to
"MicroSoft" and post it in a Forum has to be the next most irritating and
stupid idea.

I just spent 45 minutes looking for a missing CD to update a machine. Bottom
line Microsoft you are wasting my time, my staff's time and my businesses
money.
