I frequently print single envelopes from Word using the "Tools/Letters & Mailings/Envelopes & Labels" dialogue. Within this diaogue, I access my Outlook Contacts folder as a source for the delivery address
My problem is that the addresses are always printed with the country name included on the bottom line, even though the Outlook contact entry does not have a country listed. I can only assume that the envelope "wizard" is deriving the country from the Zip Code, and adding it to the address. In this case, that means it is adding the fourth line "United States of America" to each of my envelopes that is being mailed to a U.S. address
How do I prevent this behavior? If possible, I'd only like the Country name to be printed when it's actually present in the Outlook Contact address (such as for overseas addresses). For U.S. addresses, I would like the last line to be the normal city name, state abbreviation, and Zip code. Is this possible
Platform is WinXP Pro, software is the Office XP suite, using Word 2002, and Outlook 2002
As a note, I should mention that I did not have this problem doing the same thing under the Win98 Office suite programs. When I moved to XP, I imported my contact list from the Win98 version of Outlook. This behaviour only began when I moved to Office XP.
