Word 2003 causing additional pg printout

I need help to eliminate a problem with Word 2003 which causes an additional
page to each document I print in Word only.

I have tried the MS procedure to change the name of the file which causes
this problem (Normal.dot) to no avail.

It does not show in Print Preview

I would be amazed if it were normal.dot that is causing this. Is there
anything on the second page or is it blank?

Are you printing to a network printer?

Word 2003 causing additional pg printout

Hi Charles
At first I did not know whre to enter my reply.

Charles Kenyon said:

anything on the second page or is it blank? No it is not blank. I call it a page of specs.
First gives the file name of the document that I print
On the next line it gives:Directory: C:\Documentsand Settings\My computer\My
Documents
The next line down it gives Template: C:\Documents and Settings\My
computer\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot

(With all my attempts to eliminate this problem by following the Microsoft
procedure to change the file name of Normal.dot) it has now changed the
Template to just Norma.dot
It then continues with
Title
Subject
Author
Keywords
and so on
Are you printing to a network printer? No, I am not printing in a network printer.

Thank you Charles for your help.
