Eliminating the Access 2007 Startup Panel

Is there anyway to eliminate the large Access 2007 Startup Panel that shows
in the middle of the screen whenever you start up Access 2007? I have a
client who wants to see just the left and right panels.

Not sure you can open to a blank screen as in previous versions.

A shortcut on the Windows Desktop (or Start menu) could open a particular
database directly if that's any use.

That's kind of what I thought. I was wondering if there was any startup
switch you could add to the command line.
