If extensions are going away in web expressions - how will I be able to handle

FrontPage includes do not need the extensions, but EWD does not handle FP
includes anyway.
Form processing will be by using server side scripts, such as PHP, ASP,
asp.NET, Perl/cgi etc. Check which technologies your host supports.
FrontPage 2003 will be fully supported by Microsoft until January 2009, and
extended support until Jan. 2011.

Thanks for the news regarding FrontPage 2003 support. It is a great relief.
I have been using FP since it first came on the market. upgrading each time
a new FP became available. I have developed and still maintain several web
sites for individual/s and groups using FP. As my experience in Web design
has increased, I have also learned and used Dreamweaver and developed site in
that program, however I always come back to FP. I get my hands dirty and do
make changes in code directly, but like the easy of FP. The one site I
maintain has over 300 pages. Keeping track of navigation in navigation
view is just easier in FP. Will that feature be included in Expressions?
Also the Hyperlinks view - so you can see and check what page is linked to
what. I like using templates and that has help greatly.
I do use external CSS style sheets for most of the style in my sites,however
my main layout design is still contained in tables. I am in the process of
learning to develop with only CSS style and removing all tables and from the
information about Expressions it looks good. The more I learn, the easier it
gets, but the float thing can be bothersome.

At some point there will be a Addon available in the meantime the workaround
is as follows.
By inserting a snippet and then going to Code View and pressing control +
enter the snippet selections will appear make your selection or press the
number you assigned to the snippet for the include.
Back in the Design view double click where you entered the snippet and the
include properties box will appear browse to your include file and press ok.

I have also been using FP since it came out. Purchaces MANY copies, suffered
abuse by my ISP friends using it, etc. Now I have purchased Expressions.
Have it installed. Is there a way to Convert from FP to Expressions in a
simple way, or do I have to start all over again.

It depends on what you mean by "....do I have to start all over again...".
My reading and understanding is you can maintain a FP website in EW.
If I were going to start a new website from scratch I would either do it in
the next version EW (the 1st version is showing some growing pains for some
users) or I would setup my "Page Options" to only use the most common and
widely supported portions of code (eg. no FPSE, no vbscript, no VRL etc). I
would also use a linked .css page to manage the bulk of the website styles
and layout. I would try to avoid using themes.
I just got done poking around on a javascript website that was mentioned in
another post. I now have most of the replacement navigation tools I need.
I have learned the modest amount of .css needed to make a regular html
hyyperlink do the rollover trick that you used to have to do with 2 small
graphics files.
I am reluctantly reviewing everything from Htnl to learning more css and
javascript because its beginning to look like I will need them.... but
never fear FP2002 or later is still here....
