Email a .pps for recipient to hear music included in presentation.

I created a power point show which included and embedded sound file. When I
email the file to others the sounds does not come through to hear on their
end. Is there a way I can email this .pps to others and enable them to hear
the music as well?

The only music files, that get embedded are .wav files. The best way, is to put
the music file into the same folder as your presentation, before you insert
(link). Make sure that when you send your presentation you also send the music
file. Use a program like WinZip to zip up your files into one file

Only a .wav file can be embedded in PPT. Most likely your audio file is
linked and must be sent with your presentation, or converted to .wav format
so it can be embedded.

How do you know it got imbedded? Only wav files of less than 100Kb are
imbedded unless you change the file setting under "Tools", "Options". You
either need to change this setting to accommodate the file size of the wav
file, remove the sound, reinsert the sound, then resend the file. If it
isn't a wav file, it will only be linked and must be sent along with the PPT
file. The trick here is to put your sound in the same folder as your
presentation THEN insert it. Once done and saved, zip up both files and
have the recipient unzip the two files into a folder and it will work fine.

Holler back if this does not make sense.

Using an itunes native format (.M4P ?) would not be advised if sending to
Windows machines. They would need to have the latest WMP or another app that
recognizes that format, and this is not going to be common at this time
(hence it played on some and not others). I would recomend converting to an
..MP3 or embedding as a .wav (although this is a much larger file size).
