I am relatively new to entourage and there are two features that are available in outlook that I really miss. I am wondering if there is some way to do these two tasks in entourage.
1. Set up an email address group so that individual addresses do not have to be added to an email circular each time you send it to the same group of people.
2. When replying to a multi point email by annotating the original email I would like to have my comments/amendments highlighted in a different colour to the original so the responses readily stand out from the original. I know this can be done by changing the font colour for every response but it would be much more simple if the changes were highlighted automatically.

Hi,

answers are inline.
1. Set up an email address group so that individual addresses do not have to
be added to an email circular each time you send it to the same group of
people.

In Entourage, this feature is called Groups. You can create a new group via
File>New>Group.
2. When replying to a multi point email by annotating the original email I
would like to have my comments/amendments highlighted in a different colour to
the original so the responses readily stand out from the original. I know this
can be done by changing the font colour for every response but it would be
much more simple if the changes were highlighted automatically.

This can only be done manually in Entourage, if I understand this feature
correctly. However, you can set up Entourage to colourise parts of a message
based on their level of quoting. For instance, while replying to your
message, I can see your text in blue, whereas my text is black, due to the
indentation of your text, as shown through the ">" character at the
beginning of each line. This works only for messages in plain text, though,
and the colours change based on each user's preferences.

In Entourage, this feature is called Groups. You can create a new group via
File>New>Group.

Be sure that each group member is also in the Address Book. Entourage does
not export groups. I like to assign a category to each contact like this
"Group: Holiday List", "Group: Project 111". (Contacts can have multiple
categories.)

Now if you sort by category in Entourage you can easily recreate a group. It
helps to see what other groups that contact might be a part of as well.

Hope this helps!
