Hello
Can anyone tell me how to remove the 'microsoft office test drive user' phrase from email address?

Hi Steve!

You can do this in the full version of Entourage 2004 by selecting Tools
--> Accounts... and double-clicking the name of the problem account.
Change the Name field there.

Hope this helps!

user' phrase from email address? SteveM

Well I believe it automatically appears when you are using the Test
Drive (demo) version of ffice and the only way to remove it is to run
the full version instead.

Now... there is the possibility that the demo came with your Mac, you
installed the full version and did not realize that instead of running
the full veersion, you are in fact still in the demo...

I would then recommend to uninstall Office properly using the
uninstaller, then reinstall the full version and update it all the way
to clear the issue.

It is actually Office 2008, so the full version is there. The 2004 legend It must have been a hang up from the upgrade. Many thanks for your help, however. Steve M

Several users have had this problem after the SP1 upgrade.

"Me" Contact - applications like Word are looking to the Entourage Database
to get the name of the "Me" Contact.

Open WORD and click on Word/Preferences/User Information (Under Personal
settings). Make sure your name is shown and not "Office 2004 Test Drive
User".

Somehow this is being reset to test drive user during the upgrade process.
