It is actually Office 2008, so the full version is there. The 2004 legend It must have been a hang up from the upgrade. Many thanks for your help, however. Steve M
Well I believe it automatically appears when you are using the Test
Drive (demo) version of ffice and the only way to remove it is to run
the full version instead.
Now... there is the possibility that the demo came with your Mac, you
installed the full version and did not realize that instead of running
the full veersion, you are in fact still in the demo...
I would then recommend to uninstall Office properly using the
uninstaller, then reinstall the full version and update it all the way
to clear the issue.
