I'm trying to achieve something for a client - and that's to take an
image, promotional A4 size poster, and tweaking/resized it, to permit
Email of the
image - but NOT as an attachment - but so when the email is opened
up,
it's right there to be seen - can't do that by setting the image as a
background to a stationery cos it repeats itself, so only way I can
see to do it successfuly every time, is to use MS Word - create a Doc
file, with the image embedded in it, and use MS Word to "Send to
Email
recipient... it works fine. BUT - the picture portion is fine - but
at
the lower part of the image is a few sentences - text - and the
quality of this is really not the clearest, readable, but it could be
a lot cleaner,
I'v checked as far as I can to make sure MS Word isn't adding any
compression to the image, but still too much "jpg atifact noise"
around the text! - even though when viewing the actual image - it's
fine and clear!...
I don't think this is an image edit requirement !!? but more a means
of placing it into a Word Doc, and emailing from same - without loss
of quality? Does MS Word Auto Compress images? even though I'v
check
the options (picture properties) to check that compression isnt on)
any ideas appreciated. maybe there's another way to acieve this.
thanks
