Email as PDF Attachment Function in Office - Excel

No one in our company has had any problems using the "Email as PDF
Attachment" function in Excel. This function was used quite frequently by
all our sales people. A couple weeks ago, coincidentally after a round of
Windows updates (possibly?), when using this function it expands all the
graphics used in an Excel spreadsheet.

Using the Adobe PDF Writer or the Adobe Office addin "Create Adobe PDF and
Email" function works fine. It is only when using "Emil as PDF Attachment"
that it resizes graphics.

I can only assume this is a feature of Office, only. Is this correct and,
if so, what could have happened to make this happen?
