Email attack with virus attachments question

I posted a question the other day on micorsoft.public.* newsgroups and
am now being attacked by emails every 3 minutes supposedly from
microsoft. I am also rec'd undeliverable mail which I never sent out
orignally. Is there any way to stop these email attacks or is my
current email now a lost cause?

You have become a victim of the Swen/Automat virus.
I was receiving 700+ messages per day, on one day, I'm pretty sure it was
1000+..

You should find out whether your ISP makes mail filtering software available
so you can try to kill the critters at the ISP's mail server.
I continue to filter mail within Eudora, but it is essential to filter such
messages at the mail server as the messages that have attachments are well
over 100KB each.
